Country Roads of Bavaria, Switzerland & Austria
Featuring Oberammergau

September 08 - 20, 2010
Escorted by Judy Wenger

Join us on this magnificent Country Roads itinerary showcasing the hidden treasures of the European countryside as well as the great cities of Bavaria, Switzerland and Austria.

A special feature of our tour will include first class tickets to the Passion Play in Oberammergau. Once every ten years, residents of this picturesque Bavarian village re-enact the poignant and moving chronicle of Christ's final passion. Travelers from around the world and of every religious denomination are drawn to this event. More than 1500 Oberammergau villagers will take part in the play , fulfilling a solemn promise made by their forefathers in 1633. The cast members spend almost two years painstakingly rehearsing every detail of the story for the decennial performances.
